First Call for Papers
The EURALEX 2026 Organising Committee is pleased to announce the first call for papers for the XXII EURALEX International Congress.
The Congress will take place in Vienna between 29 September and 3 October 2026 and will be hosted by the Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities at the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
With its theme Lexicography in the Age of AI, the conference aims to bring together professional lexicographers, linguists, publishers, researchers, software developers, and all those interested in dictionaries and in their educational, cultural, political, and social impact on everyday life.
The event will be organised in hybrid format. While on-site participation is strongly encouraged, live streaming and session recordings will be provided for registered participants. Please note that authors are expected to present on site.
The programme will include keynote lectures, parallel sessions, software demonstrations, presentations of new projects and young lexicographers, pre-conference workshops, a book exhibition, and social events.
Call for Papers
Papers, posters, software demonstrations and presentations of new projects are invited on the theme “Lexicography in the Age of AI” as well as on all lexicographically relevant topics.
Types of contributions
· Papers (20 min presentation + 10 min discussion)
· Software demonstrations (10 min video demonstrations in a dedicated slot)
· Posters (presented in a dedicated poster session)
All proposals will undergo anonymous review by at least two members of the Scientific Committee. The Conference Proceedings will be published online, freely accessible before the conference, and submitted for indexing in Scopus.
