Con piacere diffondiamo la seguente informazione: The Arab Journal of Applied Linguistics (www.arjals.com) is pleased to announce the call for papers for a special issue on ‘Language Assessment in the Middle East and North Africa’ We invite submissions related to, but not limited to, the following areas: - Classroom assessment (assessment for learning, dynamic assessment, …etc.) - Standardized language assessment - Assessment of language skills (assessing writing, reading, listening, speaking) and sub-skills (assessing vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, thinking skills, etc.) - Language test validation - Assessment literacy - Teachers’ assessment beliefs - Test development in language assessment - Technology in language assessment - Test washback - Language testing policies in academic and professional contexts The manuscript should be between 6,000-7000 words, excluding the references. Manuscripts should be submitted directly to the Arab Journal of Applied Linguistics (AJAL). All papers will be reviewed through the journal review system.
